A pilot program has begun in my community; I would like to take the opportunity to tell you about it. What sets this program out from the others? A foster care agency that is still new (1 year old) to the world has taken on human qualities, it isn't all about the money, and it is about the children, the families and the community, and what they as an agency can give back.

As a new foster care agency, they have had many struggles, and continue to fight for the children, the families and the community. This agency has not caved to the unethical behaviors of others, but has put others before their own needs.

In the devastating economic times, and the fear of the future, a foster care agency has taken on a new meaning.

A nation wide sweep of "Pay it forward", that mean they are taking donations, of goods and services. This agency then pays it forward. This agency makes goods available to foster children who our society has tried to throw away. To foster families who can't forget the thrown away children in our society, and the needy families who maybe, by now fault of there own is now in a vulnerable situation.

As the economic struggles of yesterday are still vivid, I challenge you to pay it forward by your donation of goods and services, or in a monetary way.

Lets keep "paying it forward."
