About 'Fool on the Hill'

Fool on the Hill is a Japanese volunteer group to promote individual activities of 'Pay It Forward'. We started this group in late September last year because of the influence from the film 'Pay It Forward'.

There are 17 members and about 30 supporters at the moment. We take any chance to help people in our every day life. When people would like to pay us back, we ask them to pay it forward.

We believe that every one's individual activities to give other people true love, would definitely help to change our country, and the world.

We are also very enthusiastic about helping educate others to our open hearts to love, be and share happiness, and embrace life.

In December last year we sent a book and an audio cassette 'book' of 'Precious Present' (Written by Spencer Johnson) with our messages, to each orphanage in Tokyo .

Our activities do not look very beneficial at all in recent Japanese society. So some people might call us fool. However we keep looking at the truth like the 'fool on the hill' in Beetle's song.
