Quota International of Santa Maria
We are a service club and have taken on a Pay It Forward Program. Once a month we provide the children of our community a program where they will learn a multitude of things that they can then pass on to others in need. Such as baking cookies and they take them to the Homeless Shelter and serve the people. They make the no sew blankets and they will give them to the residents in the Convelesent Home that never have visitors. We are going to make Easter baskets and then take them to the children in the Homeless Shelter. In July we are making the Flagg Pins and writing letters and sending pictures of the kids to our Armed Forces. We will continue to find interesting and fun things for the children to learn and give back to others.

They are having a ball doing it and learning a great lesson on community involvement.

We named our program Pay It Forward from the young man's idea in the movie. Outstanding idea and a fantastic boy.

Sincerely, Janice Morales Quota Member
