ACTS, Inc--H.O.S.T. Program

Hi Catherine, My name is Lisa Fields. I live and work in Lansdale, Pa. When I watched this movie, the first thing I thought was that I had to figure out a way to incorporate this ideal at work. My company, ACTS Inc. [Brittany Pointe Estates of ACTS Inc., a Life Care Facility for the senior
population. ACTS owns 8 properties in Pa., 2 in North Carolina, 5 in Florida, 1 in Georgia and continues to build.] instigated a new program in 2001 called the H.O.S.T. Program - Honor Ownership Service Training. The purpose is to inspire the staff to think more positively, project a positive outlook, go out of their way to assist any and all clientele and to bring more fun into the work place. I became part of this team at the end of last year. We started a tree of kindness, this is how we started our pay it forward program.

1. Put forth a kindness to another associate.

2. Put their name on a leaf (_____ was paid forward by_____) and add the leaf to the tree.

3. The associate will pay a kindness forward to two others.

4. When they do, they add a leaf to the tree.
