the last month, I have twice been the recipient of the generosity
of strangers. Maybe it is only 'good business' sense, but in each
case the folks extended an offer beyond my request for additional
assistance far in excess of what it has been my experience to expect.
Perhaps it is just a trait among eBayers -- Keith Odom voluntarily refunded a purchase I made on eBay when an item didn't fit as expected and Bill G (I don't have the last name) voluntarily shipped an additional item at no additional cost when I needed a different size than the one I received -- but I truly feel that I have received two serious 'random acts of kindness'! If you shop on eBay, I can't promise the same results; but the unexpected acts of the folks at awirelessplanet and crimson444 provided a tangible reminder to 'Pay It Forward' - you never know when YOU will be on the receiving end! |
