A chain reaction

In September, I went to a convenience store at 35th Avenue and Deer Valley Road, bought my items and left to get gas. I was horrified when I discovered my change purse with license, cash and debit card was nowhere to be found.

I returned to the store, and the clerk shrugged when asked if it had been turned in. I called the bank to cancel the bank card, finished my errands and returned home.

There on the kitchen counter was my missing change purse, everything intact. I was speechless. My husband said that someone who lives in our neighborhood found it at the store. Because I wasn't home at the time, I was unable to thank them. They have set into motion a chain reaction, for I will pay it forward.
